Does anyone know anything about ford diesel trucks?

I own a 2004 Ford F250, 6.0 power-stroke diesel super duty and it is running with very little power, anyone know what might be the problem?Does anyone know anything about ford diesel trucks?Go to superdutydiesel.com for advice. I own a 7.3 and don't know too much about the 6.0's....I try to stay away from them. I have never heard of a diesel back-firing. In the meantime take it by a mechanic and have them to hook up a diagnostic computer (snap-on...not those little code readers at autozone). They can tell you if you have any bad injectors and make sure all of your pressures are reading right. It may be egr related.....????Does anyone know anything about ford diesel trucks?Could be something as simple as needing an oil change (change it), dirty fuel injectors (buy some Techron), or an air filter (check/clean the current one and possibly buy a new one). If you want more power, it might be worth paying a little more for a K%26amp;N which is said to increase HP.

I'm not a mechanic or anything but these are just some common areas of loss of power.Does anyone know anything about ford diesel trucks?Don't know a lot but the turbo could be out on it.I know they can leak oil.I would take it to the dealer, diesels are different animals than regular gas engines.Does anyone know anything about ford diesel trucks?
It could be your injectors.
