How much would it cost to replace shocks on a Ford?

I just got a Ford Explorer 93' Surprisingly its in pretty decent shape, So i thought. Then i took it up a gravel road and found out why i got it so cheap. These shocks are eather stiffer than hell or non existent. How much do you think it'd cost to replace them all? For the parts and the labor?How much would it cost to replace shocks on a Ford?Shocks don't get stiffer when they go bad. And if they did, that would be the opposite of how it would feel if there were none. Take it around to 2 or 3 shops, and ask them to check it and see what they recommend. Tire shops like Goodyear and Firestone tend to be pretty good at diagnosing and fixing these types of problems.How much would it cost to replace shocks on a Ford?It sounds like it is normal.
