Why has the paint come off my Ford badge?

I have a Ford Ka, and I recently noticed that the blue paint had come off the Ford logo badge on the boot, with a little bit of a trace left. It literally seemed to happen overnight! Does anyone know how it could have happened?

And does anyone know how I can get it fixed? Do I have to buy a new badge or can it be re-sprayed? How much will it cost?

Keep it! But get it modified by spraying it green or red (in your case pink for a girl get the idea)

Im afraid to say that is one of the consequences of owning a ford. Do you know what ford stands for? Fix Or Repair Daily. And I am not just being a snob, I am speaking from experience as we have just got rid of a ford Mondeo.

Anyway, its not really worth going to the effort of respraying the badge, you can get a new one fairly cheaply. You can get a brand new one off ebay from around 拢5.

Why do some cretins knock Fords.

I buy ex fleet Fords with at least 100K on them.

(Dead cheap to buy)

Run them up to 350K and then give them away!

Servicing and repairs are very cheap and reliability is fantastic if maintained properly.
