How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer?

I have sqeaking coming from the front suspension on my 98 Ford Explorer Sport. I got underneath and nothings broke, and it's pretty clean except for minor rust. It only squeaks when the chasis bounces up and down. A few people from explorer clubs tell me its a common problem that can be resolved by greasing the suspension and bushings, but I dont know how. Thanx for any advice in advance. How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer? The radial axis bushings squeak ,I used some lithium grease in a spray can.they can be replaced reasonably easy also

More then likely it is one of the outer tie rod ends squeaking or one of the ball joints we see any one of the four. if u can bounce the truck and tell which side it is do that then take a pick or something sharp and get a can of WD40. poke a small hole in the rubber of the outer tie rod ends and the ball joints and stick the straw in it. fill the joints with wd40. it should quit. That's the way we stop that annoying squeak on 99 % of the Fords. The other way to stop it is to determine which ball joint or tie rod end it is by filling one at a time and bouncing the truck and then replace it. %26lt;Way more expensive%26gt; but the replacement ball joint or tie rod end will come with a grease fitting. Most customers go with our WD40 plan. How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer? There usually aren't any grease fittings on ball joints, tie rod ends, etc anymore.

At the dealership we used to use white lithium grease in a spray can on the inside of control arms, shock mounts and such when we did the pre-delivery inspection after they came off the transport truck.

I'd try that. It might help and doesn't cost much. How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer?
More than likely it's the lower ball joints. They are probably loose. Lift one side of the vehicle with a jack, right underneath the lower control arm. Make sure the tires is a couple of inches off the ground. Put a pry bar underneath the tire and lift up. You can tell if they are loose. You will see up and down movement. I've done countless numbers of these. They start to squeak and creak when they dry up. Then they get loose. How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer?Well, they are pulling your leg, best way to do it, is just spray some wd-40 in the bushing areas, but it won't help much. And there is no easy way to grease the same areas, unless you take them apart, which I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will get you into allot of trouble, and will be needing an alignment and such. How do i grease the suspension on a 98 Ford Explorer?
Funny, I own the same truck and had and sorta still have very little of the same problem. Buy 2 cans of spray-lube. Get under and go crazy with spraying everything Involving your suspension. Every winter, especially since rubber dries when cold.
