leave the car with a window open in glasgowWhat is the easiest way to get a Ford stereo out?Either use tiny screw drives or ask if anybody locally comes from Liverpool.
Take a day trip to Liverpool. They'll also have your wheels while you've stopped at the traffic lights. What is the easiest way to get a Ford stereo out?park it in the nearest city and leave all the doors wide openWhat is the easiest way to get a Ford stereo out?
There are 4 holes on the faceplate of the stereo, 2 on each side. You can buy a tool for a couple bucks at the local auto parts store or you can do what i do and cut 2 4-6 inch pieces of wire coathanger, bend them into a U shape and insert each end into a hole. Give it a little push and the stereo should release from the dash.
Two words.

Sledge hammer. What is the easiest way to get a Ford stereo out?
Daddy daycare is correct about the wire coat hanger trick. You can buy the actual tool for a couple of dollars if you want.

I have actually used four nails, one in each hole, to release the stereo head before. Anything that will press the release tabs will work!
sorry to change your subject

but I left my mobile in a taxi in liverpool and the next passenger rang me up then returned big up to scoucers

I used 4 pop rivets they work
A ford dealer will help you 2 min job.
A hammer, a knife and 3 kilos of plastic explosive.

Haha no. Actually you can take it to the dealer and they will probably take it out for you as will most garages.
Park your car in a seedy part of town,it wont take long before your stereo gets feet and walks.
use a chisel and hammer

easy and cheap
park your car in liverpool with the window open!
Leave your car out on the street for the night, leave the doors and windows open and take one wheel off and take it inside where it will be safe. When you get up in the morning your stereo should be gone but your car will still be there.
if its got the four little hole on the sides just got to halfords and get a removal tool, or use very thin screw drivers to dislodge the clips and then pull...hard. My fiesta one took about 2 mins to get out like that, just make sure you pull straight cause its slid on to a rail at the top and if its not quite straight it'll keep getting stuck
Its a 10 second job with the ford radio removal tools. Go to any car stereo shop or circuit city, best buy, ect and ask them to help you out real quick. If you can find a set of the tools yourself, they will only cost a few dollars.

the tools have a lip that lets you pull out on the radio as it unlocks the clips, and its hard to rig something up at home.
Dont take any chances go fix it in ford dealership or where ever you bought it..

Good luck
Take it to a Ford dealer or a qualified fitter.
