The Flexiplate of my 2006 Ford Falcon lasts about 5 x months before breaking. It has just broken for the 3rd time. The last time it borke Ford Service replaced the Torque Convertor and the Flexiplate but still it has broken again. Any ideas what the cause might be, Ford themselves seem to be out of ideas? Why does the Flexiplate keep breaking on my 2006 Ford Falcon?Several things to look at:
Thrust bearing in engine bad allowing crankshaft to move too far rearward.
Transmission front pump bushing bad allowing torque convertor to wobble
Engine and transmission out of alignment making the components off center with each other
