Unfortunately I just got a 2000 Ford Focus. I like the car but the color is a VERY light blue. I hate the color and Im in need of a paint job. I tried calling around but for some reason no one wants to speak prices over the phone. If anyone got a paint job before please let me know the price range. OK obviously no one that answered has EVER gotten a paint job. A quality job, meaning making it look factory and not having problems 3 months down the line will be in the $4,000-$5,000 range for a SIMPLE base coat clear coat paint job. You pretty much have to disassemble the car, taking the mouldings, all exterior accessories off, do the door jambs, under the trunk and hood, the engine bay, there is a LOT of work to get it right. The reason they can't tell you prices over the phone is because of all the variables that they can find.
