Are these too many gifts for my kid's Christmas? Opinions needed!?

Hi everyone, I officially just finished my Christmas shopping for my seven year old son and six year old daughter. The hubby and I had some extra cash this year, and decided to go all out. Do you think this is too much? I don't want to spoil them too hard, LOL. If this is too much, no problem- I can just save some things for their birthdays instead. The reason it is too much is because they will start expecting this every year. When they become teenagers they will be mad at you two because you are not piling them up with gifts. As teens, their gifts will become more and more expensive.

I would put some of these away for not only their birthdays but for next year's Christmas (2011)

I know this from experience.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I also think that too many gift is not too good for child to grow up,We should teach them and let them to feeling a good warm Christmas with relatives, not only wait the gift in hope. Are these too many gifts for my kid's Christmas? Opinions needed!?
I wouldn't say too many, but it sure is quite a loot! You're really great to give your kids all that! If you have the money, it's good to go.
I say no, not too much. Its not like it is every year, like you said you had some extra money and wanted to do extra for them. I used to do the same when my kids were little. Also, since you listed stocking stuff it makes the list look longer, and most of that stuff is little.

I hope they have a blast!! Enjoy as their excitement isn't the same as they get older, it is the perfect age for a little spoiliing at christmas. Are these too many gifts for my kid's Christmas? Opinions needed!?
i don't think you will spoil them.. its a magical time of the year... its the one time of the year we should spoil our children rotten. I think if you have the extra cash and can afford to do this, go nuts! I can't see it spoiling them, unless, of course, you usualy buy them stuff all year long.. My children get bunches of stuff for their birthdays and christmas, and nothing big the rest of the year. I know some people get thir kids bikes and tvs and stuff for easter or halloween etc.. but thats off the subject. I think your ok. If you are concerned about spoiling them, you probably aren't!
