"90s kid"? Should I consider myself one?

I was born in February of 1990 and I remember most things from 1998 and 1999. I remember the Falcons-Broncos Super Bowl clearly, I remember going down the shore during the summer of '97 to my mom's friend's beachhouse, I remember the trip we made to Virginia in the same year, I remember watching a bunch of cartoons back in the day- Spider-Man, X-Men, Johnny Quest, Voltron, Swat Kats, Batman, Hey Arnold, a bunch more I can't even list them all, those are just the ones I'm positive I saw in the 90s since those are my earliest memories. And I remember just about everything from the late 90s that happened to me, summer of '98 when I joined my Little League team, christmas of '97 when my dad bought me my Sony Playstation, I remember the first baseball game I went to during the summer of '97 (Yankees-Tigers), I even remember the first 2 movies I saw in movie theaters were the Lost World Jurassic Park and Mortal Kombat Annihilation. I remember the first college basketball game I saw and I remember who all of my favorite teams were back in '98/99.



But the thing is that I can barely remember anything before 1997 that happened in my life. Only a few things such as school and one or two things that happened at my house.



So would I consider myself more of a 90s kid or a 2000s kid? I can obviously remember more from the early 2000s, but my memories of the late 90s, especially 1998 and 1999 are pretty vivid.



I just wonder how these kids born in like 1993 and 1994 consider themselves 90s kids! I'm like "dayum! remembering stuff from the late 90s for me is REALLY going back... so maybe they're confusing the early 2000s with the 90s lol""90s kid"? Should I consider myself one?

or maybe i was just seeing early 2000's reruns.. oh well, my early years were full of the best cartoons!

i can remeber when i used to watch my brother who is 7 years older than me play Star Fox and Legend of Zelda the orcarina of time and that was in 1998....oh those were the days...

OMG you've just brought back sooooo much memories...Im born in 1993 and I'd consider myself a semi-90's kid!

During the early 2000's mainly aired shows from the 90's onwards, So I grew up watching shows like keenan and kel, hey arnold, are you afraid of the dark, the amanda show, the Garcia's, angela anaconda, rugrats, doug, angry beavers, as told by ginger, KaBlam!, cat dog, Classic disney movies, Lizzie Mcguire, Thats so raven, all that, sesame street, mr blobby, Dexter's lab, ed edd and eddy, looney toons etc...



and even though the oldest I could've been during the 90's was about 6!!! I still remember playing Nintendo 64 %26amp; PS1 (which I still have) and also computer games on floppy disc ha ha
oh my god, I'm a 90s kid too. that brings me back to the good times



back when my brother was still alive, back when we used to stay up and watch tv shows when they were still good

back in the days of kidsWB cartoons, and pokemon was just coming out

I was born in june 84 and can remember back to when I was 3 but all my good memories started in 1990 when I started kindergarten. The only thing I cared about before then was my NES for Christmas.



I remember Supermario Super Show came on at 3:00pm and I had to watch it on my old Black and white tv kuz Mom was watchin OPRAH!!! Do you know how hard it was to play DR. Mario for on a Black and white TV. and Captain Planet was the Sh**!!!



And untill recently after watching I love the 80's I thought that the TMNT cartoon and Fat Albert was a 90's showt. I was too you to know what a Re-run was I guess. I consider myself an 80's baby but a 90's kid.

Even though I think it's kinda weird you don't remember anything from before you were 7, you are still a 90's kid. you are a 2000's kid too. I guess. I know they call us Millienials. My brother was born in '94 and he remembers stuff he use to do and watch before starting kindergarten @ 5 and calls himself a 90's kid which annoys me, lol. I was born in '89, I remember everything around the time my brother was born and later and somethings before.
