Poll: video games are mainly for adults; agree or disagree?

Game consoles and genres that market to kids don't seem to do as well as those made for adults. I think video games are like today's comic books. People just assume they're for kids, but they're not. The original Superman, Batman, Spider-man, X-men and other comic books were made for adults, look at them they're full of porn, foul language and violence. Just like today's video games. I'm mainly just saying this cause it sucked that systems like Dreamcast and Gamecube went out of business for marketing mainly to kids, when in fact they were still good systems.Poll: video games are mainly for adults; agree or disagree?
Disagree. How old are "game made for adults?". Gonna rely on my experiences for this.Nintendo 64 is awesome. Some good, challenging games there. Made for both kids and adults. Can be difficult for both. I disagree with things targeted at kids or adults failed because of that. Don't get me wrong, there are some decent games for more modern systems. But I believe as gaming evolved it also devolved. Not because of the technology(which has evolved), ages or any of that stuff. Because of the attitudes of gamers(devolve)( also extends to society, to an extent). gamers want faster, quicker, intenser games. Other games are "too slow" or "boring". I find a some of those people are asshats. The asshats are the "OMGBBQLOLOROFLPWNHAX" type people. You know, those annoying ones that make Xbox live a living hell. They do annoying stuff in voice chat or just kill you to piss you off. Typically 14-19 year old.





I think it's gonna get either extremely worse or improve greatly in the next generation of console gaming. PS1 had many awesome games. PS2 had some great games. PS3 I'm finding it difficult to find a fun game(save any FPS, which is not my thing).

I disagree there are more games targeted towards kids and teens like Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers Brawl while a good amount is targeted for adults like GTA IV, Call of Duty etc...Poll: video games are mainly for adults; agree or disagree?
Disagree, they're trying to create games that attract every age group. That's why we have games like Mario.
teen agers i only know of one adult who can play and thats my friends dad. little kids just get in ur way though
